10 point summary of who am i who are they.
1. Since the last module character design has become appealing to me as an avenue to explore, which in turn means im going to begin researching into more agencies which deal with illustration.

2.I've always enjoyed simple pieces of design which communicate the message or idea easily without over complicating things. For example work that Elmwood design agency produced for red nose day had clarity by being simple which i think is all that's necessary.

3.Before this degree i enjoyed working on paper and crafting, however at this point id much rather work digitally then produce work thats hand crafted. My skills on macs have developed massively and importantly i enjoy digitally producing work.

4.I wouldn't say im amazing at working with type but i do enjoy it and i am very interested in type and layout (hence picking the type module). I'm hoping my skills will develop a lot this year in this field because i would be interest in working in an agency such as 490 which deals with layout for the argos catalogue etc.

5.After my degree i would much rather work in an agency surrounded by creative people then freelancing by myself. However experience is necessary to get a job in an agency so freelancing really i have little choice. Because of this i want to be broad as a designer and open to learning new things. Work experience is important to me so i can soak all imformation possible from other designers.

6.I like how photography can highlight a point without having to say anything. Image is an interesting tool in communcation, sometimes i think type makes communcation easy and image by itself is difficult to communicate. I partically like photography (aside from character design) in communicating message.

7.From what ive seen from other agencies one of the best features i can find from one is the employers personalities. Noone wants to work with a grump. The websites that are warm, fun, introduce you to the employers are the agencies that are working well. In turn i want to be positive and easy to talk to, basically work on people skills.

8.Being honest i would rather work in and for clients in England, i was never too good at languages at school, cultural barriers and political barriers to me is an added worry. To some people they would love this but i dont think its for me. However if i got the chance to experience working in an agency abroad id love it, but working for a client abroad would be a worry. This is something i admittedly need to research into more.

9.From what ive learnt clients can be difficult at times, they take over your work and end up wanting something that the designer isnt happy about. I hope that when working with clients i'll be able to produce my ideas and hopefully they'll love it. Very ambitious.

10. My ambition is to have as many contacts as possible in a range of different agencies, giving me as many avenues in the industry as possible
