Who am i- Who are they?
As a graphic design student i preferably like slick graphics that's straight to the point.

Pieces of work like above, simple image but very effective. Simple relationship between image and type but gets the message across easily and very well.
I also find layouts for magazines books etc rather interesting. Making the page look even and interesting, making sure the reader wants to read the material in front of him/her. Considering the target audience and making sure the design works for them. I've found an agency that deals with catalogues for such companies as argos, their work is the kind of thing im interested in looking into more this year, www.fourninety.com
The relationship between type and image is something i enjoy experimenting with in my work. I like seeing how one can compliment the other and help communicate the message im trying to get across. Such work as the following from this agency (http://www.uhc-collective.org.uk/portfolio.php?tag=10&project=79 ) is really simple but so effective in complimenting each other. I really like how the negative space makes the images in the piece. It's these kinds of agency's that use simple clever graphics which id like to work for.
Currently working on our print module, its opened a lot to me that i never knew about. I've recently learnt a lot about how printers work and how i can use colour cost effectively as well as creating fantastic finishes to my work. Ive found another agency thats foreign but plays with type and colour (http://www.apeloig.com/posters.php?cle=LE_HAVRE) I personally think its interesting how the designers layered the 2 colours to create 3 which in turn makes the piece look more visually interesting.
